This
house is located in Mercedes Sur, a suburb of Heredia City.
Due the narrow of the lot, just 6mts wide (19.7ft), we set
up a front garden and back gardens from which the house lives
of. The stairs were located in the middle of the house, so
that the living and dining rooms face a front window looking
for a better sight and natural light.
The kitchen faces toward the middle
of the house where there is a double height which lights the
center space, besides it articulates the social area, giving
the sensation of a bigger space. The main bedroom is in the
back of the house giving it more privacy. Upstairs there are
two bedrooms, a tv room, and an office facing the balcony.

Far from
just give a functional solution due to the tight budget and
the narrow of the lot, what we tried to do was to give an appropriate
answer to the needs of the young professional couple that hired
us for this project.
