This project consist
on the remodeling of the Carlos Manuel Vicente High School
gymnasium, located in Golfito, at the South Pacific cost of
Costa Rica. The project consist on the extension of the current
stands, the restoration of the field, and the addition of
new rooms: bathrooms, classrooms, storage rooms, office, and
a new 'skin' for the entire building.
Due the good conditions of the actual structure, we choose
to leave it almost the same as it is, modifying just the West
side, so we can have room for the new requirements.

The new 'T' lean shape steel
supports break the old symmetry and give the necessary space
for the new installations, on a lower level of 1,30mts above
the original terrain.
