The
house is located in the province of Guanacaste, at the top
of the Palo Alto Ridge, just in front of Playa Hermosa.
Just as the Dominical Cabin, the clients of this project wanted
to build the guest house first, in order to start the main
house, once this one is finished.
Due the conditions of the property,
we choose to locate the project right next to the entrance
of it, in the smallest plateau. The house is divided in
two different areas clearly defined:
at the front, and taking the most out of the view, we found
the social area, where we located the living-kitchen-dining,
the terrace, the laundry/storage and a small external Jacuzzi.
Articulating the social area
there is a small garden that takes us to the main bedroom
and bath, secondary bedroom, and visits bath, which
are oriented parallel to the cost line.
